EV charging network provider Statiq has launched a charging station in Dehradun, in partnership with Unison Centrio Mall at its premises. The EV charging station has one fast DC charger with 60 KW capacity to charge an e-car in 40 minutes up to 80% SOC, four pillar-based 11 kW chargers each and five compact circle-based slow AC chargers, said the company.
This blend of slow and fast chargers can be used for all types of electric two, three, and four-wheelers in the city and beyond. Being one of the most popular holiday destinations in the country, the installation of this charging station is expected to be a massive boost for EV mobility in this quiet residential city, the company said in a media release.
“For many years, Dehradun and the neighbouring hill stations have been known not only for their picturesque landscapes and scenic locales but also for their pristine air and the quality of life. However, in recent years, Dehradun has also been reported to be among the country’s most polluted cities. The installation of this charging station would promote e-mobility and help combat air pollution levels in the city and the neighbourhood,” said Raghav Arora, Co-founder and CTO, Statiq.

The company has over 7,000 public semi-public and captive chargers in the country that includes more than 1,000 charging stations with DC fast-charging technology and are in strategic locations.
