
Amara Raja has announced the appointment of Narayan Sudhakar Choudhary as its Chief Operations Officer, effective January 19, 2026, according to a regulatory filing by the company.
Choudhary brings with him extensive experience in operations leadership, P&L management, manufacturing excellence, and large-scale transformation across the automotive and industrial sectors. His expertise includes greenfield project execution, multi-location manufacturing operations, supply chain management, quality systems, and engineering-driven businesses.
He began his professional journey at Wipro Lighting and went on to build strong operational credentials at Tube Investments of India and Mahindra Hinoday. Over the course of his career, Choudhary has held senior leadership roles at Honeywell Turbo Technologies, Tata Toyo Radiator, Plastic Omnium, and Autoliv. Prior to joining Amara Raja, he was associated with Taco Punch Powertrain.
Choudhary holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in management sciences. He is also well-versed in Lean manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 practices, strengthening Amara Raja’s focus on operational excellence and future-ready manufacturing.
