
Castrol India Limited has appointed V Kaushik Vedula as Vice President and Head of Marketing, effective February 2, 2026, the company informed BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited in compliance with SEBI regulations.
The appointment follows the resignation of Rohit Talwar, who stepped down from the role on August 8, 2025. Castrol India had earlier disclosed Talwar’s resignation to the stock exchanges on June 10, 2025.
Vedula brings over 20 years of experience spanning consumer goods, fast-moving consumer durables, and digital businesses. Since beginning his career in 2004, he has held senior leadership roles across marketing, new business development, and profit-and-loss management, both within large organisations and entrepreneurial ventures.
Most recently, Vedula served as Vice President – Marketing at Emami Limited, where he led brand and business strategy across multiple categories. Prior to that, he was Vice President at Quess Corp, where he played a key role in building and scaling a digital product business and driving growth initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Vedula spent seven years as an entrepreneur in the B2B2C space, working closely with consumer brands on retail development and execution. He also worked with Procter & Gamble, Nokia, and Philips during the first decade of his career, handling roles in brand management, consumer marketing, category development, and multi-channel sales management.
Vedula holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad.
