Hyundai Motor India Limited has informed the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited about changes in its senior management personnel, in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The disclosure, dated February 16, 2026, was filed by Pradeep Chugh, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.
The company has appointed Madhurendra Malu as Vertical Head – Genesis and designated him as Senior Management Personnel with effect from February 16, 2026. Concurrently, Anuraag Singh, who previously served as Vertical Head, has been removed from the list of Senior Management Personnel due to a change in reporting structure. The company did not disclose additional details regarding Singh’s current role.
Malu brings more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, spanning sales, strategy, and dealer network development. Most recently, he was associated with JSW MG Motor India, where he played a key role in launching MG SELECT, a luxury retail channel designed to offer a premium ownership experience.
Earlier in his career, Malu led dealer network expansion initiatives at Skoda Auto India, supporting the brand’s efforts to strengthen its national footprint. He also held multiple leadership positions in sales and strategy at Maruti Suzuki India Limited. He is an alumnus of the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon.
The company clarified that Malu does not have any relationship with members of its board of directors, as required under SEBI regulations for such disclosures.
Genesis, the luxury vehicle division of Hyundai Motor Group, operates as a standalone premium brand offering sedans, SUVs, and electric vehicles. Competing with established luxury marques globally, the brand has been expanding its footprint across select markets. Malu’s appointment to lead the Genesis vertical in India indicates Hyundai’s intent to formalise and strengthen the brand’s positioning in the country’s evolving premium vehicle segment.
