
Isuzu Motors India (IMI), the Indian subsidiary of Isuzu Motors Limited, Japan, has announced a change in its senior management leadership.
Takeshi Hirano has been appointed as Deputy Managing Director of Isuzu Motors India, succeeding Toru Kishimoto, who will move on to a new assignment at the company’s parent organization in Japan.
Hirano currently serves in the Isuzu Business Division at Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan, and brings more than two decades of experience in distribution and marketing across global markets for Isuzu. Over the course of his career, he has held multiple roles overseeing operations for both Isuzu Motors and Mitsubishi Corporation in different international markets.
He is also familiar with the Indian automotive market, having previously served at Isuzu Motors India as Vice President – Sales and Marketing. During that tenure, Hirano played a key role in establishing the brand’s early market presence and strengthening its sales and marketing operations in the country.
Meanwhile, Kishimoto will transition to a new role at the parent company in Japan after completing his tenure in India.
According to the company, the leadership transition is part of its ongoing business plan and organizational strategy.
