JSW Motors Limited has appointed Rakshit Bisaria as Head of Product Planning and Strategy. Bisaria announced the development through a LinkedIn post on Saturday.
He brings nearly two decades of experience across India’s automotive industry. Bisaria spent eight years at Hyundai Motor India, where he led product strategy and market research initiatives. Prior to Hyundai, he held multiple roles within the Tata Motors ecosystem, including serving as Program Manager at Tata Motors between 2015 and 2017, where he led chassis design and development for joint projects with Jaguar Land Rover.
Earlier in his career, Bisaria worked as Program Lead at Tata Technologies from 2012 to 2015 and as Assistant Manager – Assembly Line Planning at Tata Motors between 2006 and 2007. He has also held roles at Maruti Suzuki, adding experience across mass-market automotive programmes.
The appointment comes at a pivotal time as Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Motors prepares to enter the passenger vehicle segment. The company has outlined an investment plan of around ₹26,000 crore over the next five years and is reportedly in discussions with China’s BYD and other Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers to access platforms and advanced technology.
