Škoda Auto Volkswagen India appoints Nitin Selot as Executive Director – Finance, IT and Legal Affairs

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited has appointed Nitin Selot as Executive Director – Finance, IT and Legal Affairs, strengthening financial governance and digital transformation initiatives across its multi-brand India operations.

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has announced the appointment of Nitin Selot as Executive Director – Finance, IT and Legal Affairs, effective February 19, 2026. In his new role, Selot will oversee the Group’s financial strategy, legal functions and IT transformation initiatives, supporting the company’s next phase of growth and operational expansion in India.

SAVWIPL manages the Indian operations of six premium automotive brands — Škoda Auto, Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche — strengthening its position across mass-premium, luxury and performance vehicle segments in the country.

The company operates two advanced manufacturing facilities in Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, supporting local production, localisation initiatives and export operations for domestic and international markets. Selot’s appointment is expected to further enhance financial governance, digital transformation and operational efficiency as the Group accelerates its long-term growth strategy in India.

With 35 years of leadership experience across diverse industries, Nitin Selot brings deep expertise in strategic financial planning, regulatory governance, and end-to-end financial management. Prior to joining SAVWIPL, he held senior leadership positions at JCB India, Compass Group India, Shell and Mars Wrigley. He holds Finance and Accounting degrees – including an A.C.M.A. from the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of India, an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and an ACS from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
