Škoda Auto Volkswagen India announces leadership transition in Sales and Marketing Division

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India has announced a leadership transition in its Sales, Marketing and Digital division. Jan Bures will move to Volkswagen AG from September 2026, while Managing Director & CEO Piyush Arora assumes additional responsibility for Sales & Marketing in India.

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has announced a leadership transition within its Sales, Marketing and Digital function.

Jan Bures, Executive Director – Sales, Marketing and Digital, will conclude his global assignment in India and assume a new role at Volkswagen AG, effective September 2026. He will continue to remain with the Volkswagen Group in his new international assignment.

The company acknowledged Bures’ contributions to strengthening the Group’s presence and business growth in India during his tenure. Škoda Auto Volkswagen India expressed its appreciation for his leadership and wished him continued success in his new role at Volkswagen AG.

Following this transition, Piyush Arora, Managing Director & CEO, Škoda Auto Volkswagen India will assume the additional responsibility of Executive Director for Sales & Marketing for the Group in India. This enhanced leadership structure is aimed at strengthening strategic alignment, accelerating decision-making, and driving greater accountability across the organisation.
