Stellantis appoints Parshuram Kolekar as Head of Manufacturing (VP) – India & Asia Pacific

Stellantis has appointed Parshuram Kolekar as Head of Manufacturing (Vice-President) for India and the Asia Pacific region, reinforcing its leadership bench amid expanding regional operations. In his new role, Kolekar will oversee manufacturing strategy and operational performance across key APAC markets, focusing on efficiency, operational excellence and advanced production capabilities.

Stellantis has appointed Parshuram Kolekar as Head of Manufacturing (Vice-President) for India and the Asia Pacific region, reinforcing its regional leadership as the automaker advances its growth and operational strategy.

According to Kolekar’s LinkedIn announcement, he will oversee manufacturing strategy and operations across India and Asia Pacific, with a strong focus on operational excellence, efficiency enhancement and the advancement of modern manufacturing capabilities.

Prior to this appointment, Kolekar led the Stellantis Gurun manufacturing plant in Malaysia, which produces vehicles for Peugeot and Leapmotor. He also headed operations at the Thiruvallur plant in India, where Citroën vehicles are manufactured.

Before joining Stellantis, Kolekar held senior leadership roles at Adient, serving as Country Director – Indonesia and Director Operations – Malaysia. In these roles, he managed multi-country operations and drove manufacturing optimisation initiatives across Asia Pacific markets including Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, India and Indonesia.

Earlier in his career, he spent over 14 years at Johnson Controls in various operational leadership capacities, including Plant Manager, where he focused on plant transformation, customer satisfaction and operational performance improvements.

Commenting on his elevation, Kolekar expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to driving excellence across Stellantis’ manufacturing operations in the region.

The appointment comes as Stellantis strengthens its manufacturing footprint in India and Asia Pacific amid evolving product strategies and increasing competitive dynamics across key automotive markets.
