Rajesh Goel, Senior Vice President and Director, Sales and Marketing, Honda has resigned from his position “citing personal reasons”. As per the company, 24th December will be his last woking day. Yuichi Murata will take charge as Director, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. This development comes just a year after the shutting down of Honda Cars India Greater Noida plant.
“It is true that Mr Rajesh Goel has tendered his resignation for personal reasons and decided to pursue other interests outside the organisation. Mr Goel has been a part of HCIL ever since its inception and has made an invaluable contribution to our business while leading several critical functions in the company. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours. He would step down from his position on Dec 24, 2021,” the company said in a statement.
