Czech automaker Skoda Auto India’s sales head Ajay Raghuvanshi, and marketing head Tarun Jha have resigned from their respective positions. On the condition of anonymity, people aware of the matter told reporters that Raghuvanshi will be working till March-end while Jha will end his notice period on February 17, 2023.
Reports says that Skoda Auto India has communicated to its dealer partners about the career movement of the sales and marketing leads.
Jha, who joined the company as Deputy General Manager of marketing, has been with Skoda since 2008. Raghuvanshi has previously worked for automakers like Nissan, Hyundai and Honda and joined the company in 2019.
The development comes after Skoda India posted the highest-ever sales in the calendar year 2022. The company sold 1,01,270 units witnessing a year-on-year growth of 86% backed by the strong momentum of the recently-launched mid-size SUV Kushaq and mid-size sedan Slavia.
