EKA Mobility reports 5X volume growth in FY 2025–26

EKA Mobility reported 5X volume growth in FY 2025–26, expanded into electric trucks, hydrogen buses, and increased manufacturing capacity across India.

EKA Mobility has announced a five-fold year-on-year volume growth in FY 2025–26, marking a significant milestone in its expansion journey. During the financial year, the company sold 1,143 units and produced 1,344 electric commercial vehicles, driven by strong demand and an expanding product portfolio.

This growth comes on the back of EKA Mobility’s widest and most comprehensive electric vehicle lineup across segments. The company also entered the Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) truck segment during the year, further strengthening its presence alongside its existing electric bus and small commercial vehicle (SCV) portfolio.

Additionally, EKA Mobility has been recognised as a Champion OEM under the Automotive Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme and has achieved PLI certification across multiple vehicle platforms, reinforcing its commitment to scaling electric mobility solutions in India.

Sudhir Mehta, Founder and Chairman of EKA Mobility, said FY 2025–26 marks a defining year for the company, as it continues to scale volumes while expanding its manufacturing footprint. He noted that EKA Mobility has recently added a new plant and increased its planned annual production capacity to 10,000 buses, 6,000 trucks, and 24,000 small commercial vehicles (SCVs).

He further highlighted that with one of the widest ranges of fully homologated, born-electric platforms, spanning last-mile to long-haul applications, the company is uniquely positioned as a full-stack electric vehicle player. The strong growth across electric buses, SCVs, and the newly introduced truck segment reflects both rising market demand and the company’s execution capabilities.

Dr. Mehta added that India’s transition to clean commercial mobility is accelerating, and EKA Mobility aims to remain at the forefront of this shift, leveraging technology, innovation, and global ambitions to scale electric mobility solutions.
