Kinetic Engineering scales up EV business; sales cross 600 units, revenue rises 33%

Kinetic Engineering Ltd. reports 33% YoY revenue growth as EV sales cross 600 units. The company expands its dealership network and strengthens leadership to support the next phase of electric mobility growth.

Kinetic Engineering Ltd. (KEL) is gaining momentum across its electric mobility and manufacturing operations, driven by rising customer adoption, an expanding retail footprint and improved operational execution.

The company has crossed 600 electric vehicle sales to date, signalling growing market acceptance of its EV portfolio across early markets. Supporting this traction, Kinetic Watts and Volts Ltd., the electric mobility arm of KEL, currently operates seven Kinetic EV dealerships, with eight additional outlets scheduled to become operational by the end of February, in line with a phased, market-by-market expansion strategy.

Kinetic also reported a strong improvement in financial performance during the quarter ended December 2025. Consolidated revenue from operations increased 33 per cent year-on-year to ₹38.37 crore, compared to ₹28.90 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The growth was supported by improved execution across manufacturing operations and increasing contribution from the EV business.

Commenting on the progress, Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Kinetic Engineering Limited, said, “Our EV business is entering a phase of measured scale-up, supported by growing customer acceptance, an expanding retail presence and stronger operational execution. Crossing 600 EV sales and steadily expanding our dealer network reflects the confidence the market is showing in our products and approach. At the same time, the improvement in revenues underlines the strength of our manufacturing backbone. As we scale further, strengthening leadership will be critical to sustaining quality, efficiency and long-term growth.”

To support its next phase of growth, Kinetic has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Rajesh Dhongade as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Key Management Personnel at Kinetic Engineering Limited. A Mechanical Engineering graduate with over 24 years of experience across automotive and industrial manufacturing, Dhongade brings expertise in plant setup, manufacturing scale-up, component development, operations management and business development. His appointment is expected to enhance operational discipline and execution as Kinetic scales both its EV and core manufacturing businesses.

With a growing EV portfolio, expanding dealer network and a renewed focus on operational excellence, Kinetic Engineering remains committed to building a sustainable and scalable mobility business, rooted in Indian manufacturing and aligned with the country’s evolving mobility needs.
