Lexus India records strong CY2025 growth led by ultra-luxury models LM and LX

The flagship LM and LX recorded 50% year-on-year growth, while the RX range also posted double-digit gains—highlighting growing appetite for premium mobility solutions in India’s luxury car market.

Lexus India has reported a solid performance in calendar year 2025, led by strong demand for its ultra-luxury offerings. The brand’s flagship models—the LM and LX—recorded a combined year-on-year growth of 50 per cent and contributed nearly 19 per cent to overall sales, underlining rising preference for top-end luxury vehicles in the Indian market.

The Lexus LM 350h, a luxury multi-purpose vehicle focused on comfort and refinement, has seen heightened customer interest from buyers seeking chauffeur-driven, first-class mobility solutions. Its premium interiors and advanced comfort features have positioned it as a standout offering in the ultra-luxury MPV space.

Similarly, the Lexus LX 500d, an ultra-luxury SUV known for blending rugged off-road capability with advanced technology and luxury amenities, has witnessed strong acceptance among customers looking for performance across varied terrains without compromising on comfort.

Beyond its flagship models, the RX range also delivered a healthy performance, registering 18 per cent growth year-on-year and contributing 22 per cent to Lexus India’s total sales. This reflects broad-based demand across the brand’s portfolio.

Commenting on the performance, Hikaru Ikeuchi, President of Lexus India, said, “We are immensely thankful to our guests for their trust and support throughout 2025. The strong performance of our halo ultra-luxury models, LX and LM, reflects their confidence in Lexus and our dedication to delivering exceptional products and experiences.”

Looking ahead to 2026, Lexus India plans to maintain its focus on the luxury vehicle segment, which continues to show a positive outlook in the country. The brand will also continue to strengthen its ownership experience through initiatives such as an eight-year vehicle warranty, Lexus Luxury Care service packages, and five-year roadside assistance.

Lexus entered the Indian market in March 2017 and currently offers five models, four of which are self-charging hybrid electric vehicles. The ES 300h, introduced in 2020 as Lexus India’s first locally produced model, remains the brand’s best-selling vehicle. Globally, Lexus operates in over 90 countries and has sold more than two million hybrid vehicles since pioneering the luxury hybrid segment.
