JSW MG Motor India has donated a specially customised Hector Ambulance to the Society for Promotion of Youth and Masses (SPYM) to support elder care emergency services in Dehradun district. With over four decades of experience in social welfare, SPYM focuses on vulnerable communities including the elderly, women, children, and individuals affected by substance use.
The handover took place in the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, at the CM House in Dehradun. This initiative aligns with the International Day for Older Persons and aims to enhance medical emergency response for the senior population in the region.
MG Hector redesigned into the ambulance, will be stationed primarily at Ram Vihar and Prem Nagar in Rishikesh, and will contribute to providing medical assistance at critical times. Equipped with essential medical facilities, such as Oxygen bottle, Oxygen system regulator, auto-loader stretcher, ventilator, and para-monitor, among others; the vehicle has been customized to ensure safe and swift transport during dire medical situations.
“At JSW MG Motor India, we are driven by a purpose beyond mobility – to positively impact communities through innovation and care. By transforming our iconic Hector into a dedicated ambulance, we are enabling quick access to critical healthcare services in the Dehradun district. This initiative to serve the elderly population exemplifies how automotive technology can be adapted to provide swift access to emergency medical support.” said Yash Yadav, Head of Corporate Affairs, JSW MG Motor India.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Executive Director, SPYM, said, “We are grateful to JSW MG Motor India for their support in enhancing emergency response and care for our elderly citizens in Dehradun district.
