Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has secured top honours at the Red Dot Award 2026: Product Design, with the Honda WN7 and Honda UNI-ONE receiving the prestigious “Red Dot: Best of the Best” award.
In addition, the Honda Prelude and Honda Miimo 1500i/2200i were also named Red Dot winners in the same competition, marking another milestone in Honda’s global design excellence.
Honda noted that this recognition extends its winning streak to seven consecutive years at the globally renowned design awards.
Honda WN7: Electric Motorcycle with “Be the Wind” Concept
The Honda WN7 is the brand’s first full-size electric naked motorcycle developed under the concept “Be the Wind.” The model adopts a frameless structure where the battery case positioned at the center of the body forms part of the frame.
This innovative layout contributes to:
- Lightweight construction
- Slim and compact body design
- Greater layout flexibility
The design focuses on refined functionality and rider-centric ergonomics, featuring smooth surfacing where the rider interacts with the motorcycle, combined with a bold and powerful silhouette.
A signature horizontal bar headlight design also debuts on the WN7, which Honda plans to adopt as a common identity for its future electric motorcycle lineup.
UNI-ONE: Hands-Free Personal Mobility Robot
Honda’s UNI-ONE is a seated mobility robot developed using robotics technologies derived from ASIMO. The device allows users to steer simply by shifting body weight, enabling hands-free movement in multiple directions.
Designed for users of all ages, UNI-ONE aims to enhance accessibility and mobility in environments such as:
- Public spaces
- Commercial facilities
- Indoor environments
The design features soft, approachable forms with rounded edges and subtly concealed wheels, allowing the device to blend seamlessly into everyday environments while ensuring safety and ease of use.
Honda says UNI-ONE supports diverse users, including seniors, and aims to enhance mobility, work efficiency and participation in society.
Miimo 1500i/2200i: Smart Robotic Lawn Care
Honda’s Miimo 1500i and 2200i robotic lawnmowers were developed under the concept “Smart Lawn Meister.” These models introduce wireless navigation using RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) technology, eliminating the need for perimeter cables.
Key features include:
- Wireless navigation system
- Automated mowing functionality
- Ultrasonic sensors (Miimo 2200i)
- Dual obstacle-avoidance modes
The refined exterior design incorporates modern color, material and finish elements that blend into contemporary lifestyles. A dedicated smartphone app with intuitive UI further enhances user convenience.
All-New Prelude: Hybrid Sports Model for the Electrified Era
The all-new Honda Prelude hybrid sports model embodies the brand’s “joy of driving” philosophy for the electrified era. Built on Honda’s two-motor hybrid system, the model adopts Honda S+ Shift control technology to deliver sharp gearshift feel and responsive driving dynamics.
Additional features include:
- Simulated stepped transmission feel
- Engine-sound reproduction through speakers
- Responsive digital meter display
- Driver-focused cockpit design
Developed under the concept “Unlimited Glide,” the Prelude features a low and wide stance, clean roofline and aerodynamic proportions.
Inside, the driver-focused cabin includes:

- Two-tone Blue & White interior theme
