
Horizon Robotics, a leading provider of intelligent driving solutions for passenger vehicles, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bosch, a global leader in automotive technology and services, to deepen their collaboration.
Under the agreement, Bosch will develop its next-generation multi-purpose camera using Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6B platform. Additionally, Bosch’s ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) product lineup for mid-range vehicles will be built on Horizon’s Journey 6E/M platforms. These joint efforts aim to significantly enhance safety, convenience, and comfort for drivers and passengers alike.

At the signing ceremony, in the presence of Mr. Wang Weiliang, President of Bosch Mobility Board China, Mr. Christoph Hartung, President of Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions, and Dr. Yu Kai, Founder and CEO of Horizon Robotics, and Mr. Lyu Peng, Vice President of Horizon Robotics and Head of Strategy, Smart Driving Product Planning & Marketing, Mr. Wu Yongqiao, President of Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions China and Mr. Calvin Xing, Vice President of Horizon Robotics and Vice President of Automotive Business Unit, signed the strategic cooperation MoU.
Bosch’s Journey 6B-Powered Camera Secures Multiple OEM Projects
Bosch’s new multi-purpose camera, built on Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6B platform, has secured design wins with several global and Chinese automakers. Targeted for mass production by mid-2026, the camera offers a cost-effective solution for SAE Level 2 assisted driving, supporting advanced safety and comfort features. Horizon’s Journey 6B is optimized for next-generation ADAS, enabling high performance, cost efficiency, and enhanced safety in standard vehicle configurations.
Bosch and Horizon Robotics expand ADAS Collaboration with Global Reach
Bosch’s ADAS product family for mid-segment vehicles, powered by Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6E/M platforms, has secured contracts with five OEMs—including JeTour, Dongfeng, and BAIC—with the first production model set to launch in June 2025. Supporting advanced features like urban memory driving and one-move parking assist, the platform’s first overseas project is scheduled for Q1 2026, marking the start of its global rollout.
Journey 6E/M is recognized for its high performance and cost efficiency, contributing to Horizon’s growing industry presence. Over 20 OEMs have adopted the Journey 6 series for more than 100 smart vehicle models, with shipments expected to surpass 1 million units in 2025 and cumulative volume projected to exceed 10 million units that year.
