Hyundai Motor highlights hydrogen leadership at Japan Mobility Show 2025 with All-New NEXO

Hyundai Motor debuted the all-new NEXO and INSTEROID concept car at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, showcasing hydrogen innovation, zero-emission technology, and electrification leadership while engaging eco-conscious audiences and strengthening its presence in Japan.

Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the all-new NEXO fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, marking its debut in Japan and reinforcing Hyundai’s commitment to hydrogen innovation and sustainable mobility.

The all-new NEXO joins Hyundai’s extensive lineup of electrified vehicles on display in Tokyo, including the INSTEROID concept car, the award-winning IONIQ 5, and the INSTER Cross. The showcase emphasizes Hyundai’s diverse electrification capabilities and dedication to delivering innovative mobility solutions for the evolving automotive landscape.

The 2025 Japan Mobility Show represents Hyundai Motor’s largest public activation in Japan to date. The event serves as a strategic platform to strengthen market presence, engage environmentally conscious and younger audiences, and highlight Hyundai’s industry-leading electrification and hydrogen technologies. The all-new NEXO, which Hyundai Motor describes as the ultimate expression of its hydrogen technology, boasts significant advancements:

  • Sustainability: The all-new NEXO emits zero tailpipe emissions, contributing to cleaner air through its fine dust-removal capabilities during operation.
  • Performance: With an improved fuel cell system and battery performance, the NEXO achieves over 826 km of range (WLTP) from a full five-minute charge.
  • Safety: Featuring Hyundai Motor’s cutting-edge Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), The all-new NEXO includes advanced features, including highway driving assist, surround view monitoring, remote smart parking assist, and enhanced airbag safety systems.
  • Comfort and connectivity: The all-new NEXO introduces premium features such as a Bang & Olufsen audio system, ventilated seating for first row, and eco-friendly interior materials.
