
Chery Group’s iCAUR V23 continued its strong global momentum in June, securing leadership positions across multiple international markets. The battery electric boxy SUV topped the new energy boxy SUV segment in Southeast Asia while also recording category-leading performances in Hong Kong, Thailand, Nepal and South Africa.
Hong Kong delivered the V23’s standout achievement, with the model emerging as the best-selling vehicle across all categories during June. The milestone is particularly significant given Hong Kong’s highly competitive automotive market, where consumers have traditionally shown strong preferences for established global brands.
Thailand remained the V23’s strongest overseas market, with the SUV retaining the top position in the country’s boxy SUV segment. As one of iCAUR’s earliest international markets, Thailand continues to play a key role in supporting the brand’s broader expansion strategy across Southeast Asia.
The V23 has also gained momentum in emerging markets. Following its official launch in South Africa on May 28, the model received more than 300 orders within its first month and ranked first in the country’s boxy SUV segment in June. In Nepal, the V23 similarly secured the leading position in the new energy boxy SUV category, highlighting its growing appeal across diverse regional markets.
To date, the iCAUR V23 has been introduced in more than 20 countries and regions worldwide. Its expanding international footprint reflects a combination of distinctive styling, practical capability and advanced electric mobility technology.
The V23 is designed to offer versatility for both urban commuting and outdoor adventures. It features a 43-degree approach angle, a 41-degree departure angle and 210 mm of ground clearance, enabling it to tackle challenging terrain while remaining practical for everyday driving. A 2,735 mm wheelbase provides a spacious cabin, catering to family travel and flexible cargo requirements.
The electric SUV has also earned international recognition for its design and safety credentials, including the German Red Dot Award: Design Concept and a five-star safety rating from ASEAN NCAP, strengthening its reputation in global markets.
Alongside its product expansion, iCAUR has launched its global “Ride to Cheer” campaign, leveraging the excitement surrounding the summer football season to engage customers worldwide. The company has also partnered with ecosystem collaborator AiMOGA Robot to enhance user experiences through intelligent technologies and connected mobility solutions.
As the brand continues its international expansion, iCAUR aims to introduce the V23 to additional global markets, reinforcing its commitment to delivering innovative, intelligent and reliable new energy mobility solutions to customers around the world
