
Kaiyi Auto officially launched the globally designed X7 Hybrid 7-seater SUV in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, On April 2, in collaboration with local dealer CMG-CAMEL AUTO. The launch event showcased the model’s avant-garde styling, spacious cabin, and intelligent hybrid technology, positioning it as an attractive new choice for families in the region. The introduction also represents a significant milestone in Kaiyi Auto’s global expansion strategy, particularly in the Central Asian market.
The Kaiyi X7 Hybrid has been developed as a global model, designed to meet international standards while addressing the diverse usage requirements of multiple regions. Tailored for a wide range of driving scenarios, the SUV aims to deliver a balanced combination of style, practicality, and efficiency.
Built around three key pillars — elegant design, spacious interior, and intelligent hybrid performance — the Kaiyi X7 Hybrid aims to set a new benchmark in the mid-size intelligent hybrid SUV segment.
In terms of design, the SUV features a distinctive “light and shadow” aesthetic, complemented by a digital front fascia and intelligent lighting elements that enhance its modern appeal. Inside, the vehicle offers a class-leading 5+2 flexible seating configuration, making it suitable for family outings, long-distance travel, and everyday use.
Performance-wise, the Kaiyi X7 Hybrid is powered by an efficient hybrid system that delivers an impressive driving range of over 1,200 km. It also accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, helping address range concerns while maintaining strong performance.
The launch event also included a handover ceremony for the first batch of local customers, marking the model’s official entry into the Uzbek market. To further demonstrate real-world capability, Kaiyi Auto announced a cross-border journey, where leading local KOLs will drive the X7 Hybrid from Tashkent to the company’s global headquarters in Yibin, China. This long-distance drive will test the vehicle across diverse terrains and road conditions, validating its durability, reliability, and long-range capability.
Uzbekistan serves as the first global launch market for the Kaiyi X7 Hybrid.
