Maserati unveils Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato: A Fusion of Italian Excellence

Maserati and Marchesi Antinori have unveiled the Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato, a limited-edition SUV born from the Maserati Fuoriserie customisation programme. This unique collaboration unites Italian excellence in engineering and winemaking, celebrating the shared passion for craftsmanship and innovation.

Maserati, in collaboration with renowned winemakers Marchesi Antinori, introduces the Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato—a bespoke series of one-off vehicles crafted through the Maserati Fuoriserie personalisation programme. This exclusive creation celebrates Italian craftsmanship, uniting cutting-edge automotive engineering with the refined art of winemaking.

The limited series pays tribute to Bolgheri, a picturesque gem on the Tuscan coast, and to Il Bruciato—one of the region’s most iconic wines. More than just a vintage, Il Bruciato embodies bold character and sophistication. The Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato reflects this spirit, symbolising the meeting point between Maserati’s dynamic elegance and the timeless legacy of Marchesi Antinori, one of the world’s oldest and most esteemed wine families.

The Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato draws inspiration from nature and the grape harvest, featuring a unique Alchimia Scarlatta body colour that shifts hues—burgundy with copper and dark raspberry tones—thanks to a special Chromaflair pigment. This dynamic paint creates the illusion of multiple colours from different angles.

The exterior is completed with 21″ Pegaso Forgiati or Crio Fuoriserie wheels, black brake calipers, and a matching Fuoriserie logo on the front fender. Inside, the cabin features Tan/Dark Red leather, tone-on-tone stitching, “cannelloni” ribbed detailing, and headrests embroidered with the Trident logo. Enhancing the sensory experience are a 14-speaker Sonus faber audio system and a panoramic sunroof—creating a refined, immersive atmosphere, much like enjoying a fine glass of wine.

This special edition draws its inspiration from Bolgheri, a scenic coastal town in Tuscany where the breeze moves through the vineyards and time is marked by scents, light, and stillness. It’s the birthplace of Il Bruciato, a wine introduced in 2002—bold, balanced, and perfectly aligned with the spirited character of the Maserati Grecale SUV.

The phrase “Driving the essence of Italian living” captures the heart of the Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato. More than a car, it stands as a celebration of Italian artistry—an invitation to embrace life with elegance, refinement, and passion. It’s a journey that begins in Tuscany and extends wherever there’s a love for beauty and craftsmanship.

Giovanni Perosino, Maserati Chief Marketing and Communication Officer:“Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato is the upshot of an exclusive project that has revolved around Maserati’s essence as the epitome of Italian luxury around the world. Produced for the few, almost tailor-made, inspired by tradition, innovation and artisanship 100% made in Italy. An expression of the Maserati Fuoriserie personalisation programme, for our customers to create the car of their dreams: one-offs with the ability to combine unmistakable design, extraordinary performance, prestigious materials and the most extreme and refined creativity. Just as Maserati finds its roots in the spirit of granturismo, this special version of the Grecale is a tribute to Italian know-how, where every curve tells a story and every journey becomes an experience”.

Renzo Cotarella, Marchesi Antinori CEO: “Il Bruciato was first produced in 2002: a complex year, marked by challenges and heavy rain. A modern and accessible new wine was created following this difficult period: an invitation to approach and experience a great wine.

As with a great car, what matters is not only technical perfection but the ability to make the everyday exceptional, combining identity, elegance and pleasure. The Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato is a tribute to this essence and to the Bolgheri area”.
