Škoda has officially named its upcoming all-electric 7-seater flagship Peaq, marking a major milestone in the brand’s electric future. The model traces its origins to the Vision 7S concept, unveiled in spring 2022, which introduced Škoda’s Modern Solid design language and signalled a clear shift towards sustainability, functional design, and advanced technology.
Set to make its world premiere in summer 2026, the Peaq sits at the very top of Škoda’s global portfolio. According to Martin Jahn, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Škoda Auto, the Vision 7S represented a bold step into new territory for the brand. Since then, Škoda has refined its design identity and product strategy—culminating in the production-ready Peaq, which brings that original vision to life. The name itself underscores the model’s flagship status and its role in defining the brand’s electric ambitions.
Designed around Škoda’s core values of space, practicality, and comfort, the Peaq offers a spacious seven-seat layout tailored for families and users balancing work, leisure, and long-distance travel. Emphasising user-friendly design and the brand’s signature Simply Clever solutions, the Peaq represents another key step in expanding Škoda’s electric vehicle range and reinforcing its position in the evolving EV landscape.
