Škoda Auto has unveiled the first official interior sketches of its upcoming all-electric flagship SUV, the seven-seater Peaq, offering an early glimpse into the brand’s next-generation design and user experience philosophy ahead of the vehicle’s global debut on June 23, 2026.
The design illustrations showcase a spacious, lounge-inspired cabin characterized by clean architecture, premium materials and a strong emphasis on comfort and usability. Designed to maximize interior roominess, the Peaq features a calm and uncluttered environment intended to enhance the overall passenger experience.
At the heart of the cabin is a new user experience and interface concept that combines physical controls with a centrally mounted infotainment touchscreen. The setup is designed to strike a balance between digital functionality and intuitive operation, allowing drivers to access essential vehicle functions without unnecessary complexity.
The interior adopts a clear horizontal layout that enhances the sense of openness. A free-standing central display and compact digital instrument cluster help simplify information delivery, while a floating centre console contributes to a clean and organized appearance.
For the first time in a Škoda model, the dashboard incorporates a vertically oriented infotainment display. Physical control elements positioned around the cabin provide direct access to climate settings, audio controls and other key vehicle functions. Ergonomically designed armrests support interaction with the touchscreen, while integrated magnetic wireless charging docks offer convenient smartphone charging.
The Peaq also introduces Škoda’s new ‘Lodge’ interior concept, which combines soft textile surfaces with robust tactile materials to create a refined yet practical environment. Durable materials and easy-to-maintain finishes are intended to support everyday usability while maintaining a premium feel.
“Škoda puts the customer at the centre, designing a seamless user experience that connects the usability of the physical seven-seat interior with the digital experience around it, ensuring intuitive interaction and reducing complexity,” said Chan Park, Head of In-Car and UX Design at Škoda.
According to the company, the Peaq establishes a new benchmark for interior space, functionality and material quality within the brand’s portfolio. The all-electric SUV is expected to play a key role in Škoda’s expanding EV lineup.
The world premiere of the all-new Škoda Peaq will take place in Monnetier-Mornex, France, on June 23, 2026, at 18:25 local time.
