Schaeffler inaugurates new central logistics center

Schaeffler announced the inauguration of its new Central Logistics Center in Thailand, marking a significant milestone for Schaeffler's Vehicle Lifetime Solutions division.

Schaeffler has announced the opening of its new Central Logistics Center in Si Racha District, Chonburi, Thailand, marking a key milestone for its Vehicle Lifetime Solutions division. The inauguration event brought together Jens Schüler, CEO of Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions, along with business partners from across the Asia-Pacific region.

This new facility in Thailand will oversee the planning and coordination of all supply chain management, operations, and quality processes across the Asia-Pacific region. Covering 3,000 square meters and staffed with Schaeffler team members in essential roles, the logistics center is located 21 kilometers from Schaeffler’s Chonburi manufacturing plant.

“This new operating model in Thailand underlines our commitment to enhancing service quality and operational efficiency. With improved infrastructure and capabilities, the central logistics center will serve as a key supply hub for the Asia Pacific region. Additionally, Schaeffler will introduce its service brand REPXPERT and the Schaeffler OneCode service solution. Our goal was to improve the accessibility and efficiency of spare parts distribution by increasing our focus on innovation, progress, and customer orientation,” said Micah Shepard, president of Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions Asia Pacific. Kuehne+Nagel is the new partner at Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions Central Logistics Center in Thailand.
