Mercedes-Benz India has launched the all-new G 450d, featuring the most powerful diesel engine in the brand’s portfolio. With this launch, the iconic G-Class is now available in India with three powertrains—diesel, petrol, and electric—for the first time.
The G 450d offers a compelling blend of performance and efficiency, powered by a strong and efficient diesel engine with ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) technology. This move caters to sustained customer demand for a diesel option and reflects Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to providing a G-Class for every type of buyer in India.

The Mercedes-Benz G 450d showcases exceptional off-road capabilities, including 100% gradeability, 241 mm ground clearance, 70 cm fording depth, stability on 35° side slopes, and approach/departure angles of 31°/30°, with a 26° breakover angle.
