Kinetic Engineering Limited (KEL), one of India’s leading mobility engineering and component manufacturing companies, has reported significant progress at its electric vehicle subsidiary, Kinetic Watts & Volts Ltd. (KWV), in its latest quarterly update.

KWV recently achieved a major milestone with ARAI homologation certification and successful completion of vehicle testing. The company inaugurated its first showroom on 16th October 2025, and deliveries of the highly anticipated Kinetic DX are set to begin by the end of November 2025, following overwhelming market demand and strong early bookings.

The company has already issued over 50 Letters of Intent (LOIs) across key cities, including Pune, Mumbai, Baroda, Surat, Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Delhi, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, and Cuttack. With these locations, KWV has achieved its network expansion target for the year and plans to open all dealerships by March 2026. Production and sales are expected to ramp up to 5,000 units, generating approximately ₹50 crores in revenue.

Looking ahead, KWV has set ambitious targets for the next fiscal year, aiming to sell at least 60,000 units, translating to ₹600 crores in revenue, as its electric vehicle portfolio scales further. The company also plans to establish a nationwide network of 200 dealerships by FY 2026–27, with a focus on expanding into southern India in the next phase.

This progress highlights Kinetic’s commitment to strengthening its presence in India’s EV market and underscores the brand’s growing influence in electric mobility.

Adding his perspective, Mr. Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman, Kinetic India, said: “This quarter marks a significant step forward in our journey. The company has also revamped its paint shop and added new metal pressing facilities, enabling higher throughput and enhanced quality standards. KEL is currently producing chassis for the E-Luna and the Kinetic DX EV, underscoring its strong backward integration with the group’s electric mobility initiatives.

KEL also confirmed that it is in advanced discussions with several existing and new customers in the auto component sector, which are expected to further propel its B2B business in the coming months.
