
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has been recognized with two distinguished awards at the India CSR Awards 2025, celebrating the company’s impactful initiatives in road safety, education, and social development across India.
Launched in 2011 by the India CSR Network, the awards highlight exemplary corporate social responsibility projects that drive long-term, sustainable change. The 2025 edition honoured initiatives reflecting innovation, inclusivity, and alignment with national development priorities.
The awards were presented during the 16th CSR Leadership Summit 2025 at Modi Hall, PHDCCI, New Delhi on November 21, attended by leading policymakers, corporate leaders, and development-sector experts.
In the CSR Innovation-Larger Impact category, TKM was honoured for its Toyota Hackathon initiative. This first-of-its-kind initiative empowers students from grades 9 to 12 to design practical, technology-enabled solutions addressing real-world road safety challenges. Toyota Hackathon was launched in 2019, the program has since evolved into a multi-city youth innovation movement across Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai cities. Over the years, the program has impacted more than 15,000 students cumulatively.
The CSR Project of the Year – Large Impact category has been awarded to the Toyota Anganwadi Development Programme (TADP). The programme has been recognized for its large-scale contribution to early childhood education in the state of Karnataka. Implemented in collaboration with the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Karnataka, the program focuses on transforming Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) into child-friendly learning environments by upgrading infrastructure, strengthening teaching capacities, and promoting holistic development. Since the inception of TADP in 2020, the program has upgraded more than 580 Anganwadi Centers and benefited over 10,000 children, teachers, and supervisors across Karnataka.
