Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the launch of its customer-focused initiatives, TDRIVE and TDELIVER, at Prince Toyota in Sri Vijaya Puram, marking their first-ever introduction in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The dual rollout highlights Toyota’s continued commitment to enhancing customer experience, safety, and responsible mobility across diverse regions in India.
The inauguration ceremony at Prince Toyota was attended by senior leadership from Toyota Kirloskar Motor, including Mr. Tadashi Asazuma, Deputy Managing Director, and Mr. Arun Nair, Vice President – Strategic Business Unit (East Region), along with representatives from Prince Toyota and other key stakeholders. The launch reinforces Toyota’s strategy of expanding customer-centric services and strengthening its retail and service ecosystem in emerging and remote markets.
TDRIVE: An Initiative Towards Building Safe Society
TKM introduced TDRIVE, a structured motor vehicle training initiative, in partnership with Prince Toyota to strengthen road safety awareness and impart disciplined driving practices in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. This marks Toyota’s first motor vehicle training facility in the region.
Aligned with Toyota’s safety philosophy of creating the “Safe Society” TDRIVE offers practical high quality futuristic training models though the well-equipped classroom training, simulator training, and supervised on-road sessions to build safer driving skills. The advanced simulator, developed within an actual vehicle, enables a smooth transition to real-world driving conditions. Toyota continues to expand its nationwide network of driving schools in pursuit of its vision of zero road fatalities in India.
TDELIVER: Setting New Standards in Vehicle Delivery
The launch of TDELIVER in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands marks a key milestone in Toyota’s industry-first approach to new-car delivery, aimed at elevating customer satisfaction. Launched nationwide in February 2024, TDELIVER uses flatbed carriers to transport vehicles directly from stockyards to delivery points, eliminating pre-delivery road usage. This ensures consistent vehicle quality, safer handling during transit, and sets a new benchmark for safe, reliable deliveries—at no additional cost to customers, even in complex last-mile regions.
With this activation at Prince Toyota, the Andaman Island is now integrated into Toyota’s expansive TDELIVER network as 1,000th locations, covering 100% of Toyota dealerships across India. The company is poised to achieve service milestones, with the Andaman launch marking both the 1-lakh TDELIVER service since inception in 2024 and the brand’s 1,000th outlet.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tadashi Asazuma, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “The launch reflects our unflinching commitment towards fostering a culture of responsible mobility through comprehensive solutions. We thank our dealer partner Prince Toyota for joining us in promoting safety and enhancing customer satisfaction. With the introduction of TDRIVE and TDELIVER in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, we further strengthen customer trust while extending the highest standards of safe mobility to the region.”
Mr. Sagar Khurana, Dealer Principle, Prince Toyota said, “We are proud to partner with Toyota Kirloskar Motor in bringing TDRIVE and TDELIVER to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. These initiatives go beyond products and services, they shape behavior, trust and responsibility within communities of this region. By combining world-class delivery standards with structured driver training, we are collectively contributing towards a road safety culture within the society.”
With the launch of TDRIVE and TDELIVER at Prince Toyota, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has significantly strengthened its presence in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, reaffirming its commitment to thoughtful mobility solutions that enhance safety, customer experience and trust.
