Inspired by India and proudly Made in India, Made for India, the GRAVITE is the first model to be introduced under Nissan’s refreshed product offensive. The launch reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to strengthening its portfolio and expanding its footprint in the Indian market.
The name “GRAVITE” reflects the collective strength and diversity of 1.4 billion Indians and the thousands of vernacular languages and traditions that define the nation’s cultural fabric. Purpose-built to meet the evolving aspirations of Indian families, the GRAVITE blends generous space, versatility, comfort, and everyday practicality with a strong, commanding road presence.
Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President and President, Middle East, KSA, CIS and India – Nissan and Infiniti, said, “India is central to Nissan’s global ambitions. Our actions over the past year strengthening operations, expanding the network and embarking on a product offensive demonstrate our long-term commitment to this market. The All-New Nissan GRAVITE is not just a product launch; it marks the beginning of a sustained growth phase for Nissan in India. With local manufacturing at our alliance partner facility in Chennai and a future-ready product roadmap, we are here to compete, grow and lead in the segments that matter.”
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said: “The All-New Nissan GRAVITE is inspired by the diversity, scale and ambition of Indian families. Every detail from its modular seating to its commanding stance reflects how Indian customers live, travel and grow together. For us, GRAVITE is more than a product introduction. It is a promise that Nissan will continue to design, manufacture and invest in vehicles that truly resonate with India’s mobility aspirations.”
The All-New Nissan GRAVITE embodies a bold and confident design aligned with Nissan’s global styling philosophy. With elevated proportions, muscular body lines, pronounced wheel arches, and high ground clearance, it delivers a commanding stance tailored for Indian road conditions. Distinctive hood branding and exclusive rear-door badging set it apart in its segment, while Nissan’s signature C-shaped design elements at the front and rear ensure strong brand recognition. The MPV further enhances its premium appeal with all-round LED lighting, signature headlamps with DRLs, Crystal Edge LED tail lamps, LED fog lamps, a piano black grille, functional roof rails, and wide-opening doors for added practicality.
Inside, the GRAVITE focuses on space, modularity, and family comfort. Designed to adapt effortlessly between daily commutes and long journeys, it offers seating flexibility for 2 to 7 occupants. The removable third-row seats allow boot capacity to expand up to 625 litres in the 5-seater configuration, while offering 320 litres in 6-seater and 84 litres in 7-seater layouts. Premium suede and leatherette quilted seats, generous cabin dimensions across all three rows, tropicalised air-conditioning with 3-row vents, and separate second-row controls ensure comfort for every passenger. The cabin also features best-in-class storage solutions, including cooled glove boxes and centre console storage.
On the technology front, the GRAVITE integrates modern connectivity and convenience features such as a 20.32 cm floating infotainment system with wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™, a 17.78 cm full digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, auto LED headlamps with follow-me-home function, walk-away lock and approach unlock, along with front and rear parking sensors.
Safety remains a key pillar, with over 30 standard safety features. These include six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill-Start Assist (HSA), Brake Assist System (BAS), ABS with EBD, and seatbelt reminders for all occupants, ensuring enhanced stability, confident handling, and comprehensive occupant protection.
Powering the GRAVITE is a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque. Paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed EZ-Shift (AMT) transmission, the powertrain is tuned for smooth city driving and comfortable highway cruising, while offering fuel efficiency of up to 19.6 km/l.
Additionally, Nissan is offering a Limited Period Launch Edition featuring premium enhancements such as JBL speakers, dual dash cam, air purifier, ambient lighting, added comfort cushions, and distinctive exterior styling accents — further elevating the ownership experience.
