Mahindra has officially announced the return of the BE 6 Batman Edition, the world’s first commercially available Batman-themed SUV, following overwhelming interest from fans and customers since its original launch.
Developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the limited-edition model initially sold out its entire allocation of 999 units in just 135 seconds. Inspired by Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy, the SUV quickly became a collector’s favourite and continued to generate strong demand on social media from enthusiasts who missed the original booking window.
Responding to this enthusiasm, Mahindra has decided to reopen bookings for the BE 6 Batman Edition for a limited period. While the first 999 units remain the founding chapter of the Batman Edition story, the upcoming booking window offers another opportunity for fans to own this exclusive SUV.

To recognise the loyalty of existing owners, bookings referred by current BE 6 Batman Edition customers will receive priority delivery.
Inspired by one of the most iconic characters in global pop culture, the BE 6 Batman Edition blends performance, craftsmanship, and design with the unmistakable character of DC’s Batman. The special edition is based on the top-end Pack Three 79 kWh variant of the BE 6.
The SUV stands out with a bold and aggressive exterior finished in custom Satin Black paint, accentuating its stealth-inspired design. A Batman decal on the front doors and limited-edition “BE 6 × The Dark Knight” rear badging underline its exclusivity. It rides on R20 alloy wheels, giving it a strong and athletic stance, while Alchemy Gold-painted suspension components and brake callipers add a premium contrast to the dark bodywork.
The iconic Bat emblem from The Dark Knight Trilogy is featured across several elements, including the hub caps, front quarter panels, rear bumper, windows, and rear windshield. The Infinity Roof also displays the Bat emblem, while Night Trail carpet lamps project the emblem onto the ground for a dramatic effect. Completing the exterior design is the ‘Batman Edition’ signature sticker on the rear door cladding.
Inside, the BE 6 Batman Edition continues the superhero theme with premium materials and exclusive detailing. The dashboard features a Brushed Alchemy Gold Batman Edition plaque, paired with a charcoal leather instrument panel and a brushed gold halo around the driver cockpit. The seats and interior surfaces are finished in suede and leather upholstery with gold sepia accent stitching, along with integrated Bat emblems that reinforce the special edition identity.
Additional highlights include gold-accented elements on the steering wheel, In-Touch controller, and electronic parking brake, as well as a custom key fob finished in Alchemy Gold. The Bat emblem is also embossed across various interior components, including the Boost button, seats, and interior labels.
The passenger-side dashboard features a pinstripe graphic with the Bat emblem, while race-car inspired door straps with Batman Edition branding add a performance-oriented touch. Enhancing the experience further are a Batman Edition welcome animation on the infotainment display and custom Batman-inspired exterior engine sounds, creating an immersive and uniquely themed driving experience.
