Hyundai Motor India posts record Q4 domestic sales; March 2026 becomes best-ever month

Hyundai Motor India recorded its highest-ever quarterly domestic sales of 1,66,578 units in Q4 FY2025-26, while March 2026 became the brand’s best-ever month.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) recorded its highest-ever quarterly domestic sales, delivering 1,66,578 units in Q4 FY2025–26, marking an 8.5% year-on-year growth. The company also reported total quarterly sales of 2,08,275 units during the January–March 2026 period, registering an 8.7% YoY increase, including exports of 41,697 units, which grew 9.4% year-on-year.

In March 2026, Hyundai Motor India achieved total monthly sales of 69,004 units, comprising 55,064 domestic units and 13,940 export units. The 55,064 domestic sales figure marks Hyundai’s highest-ever March domestic sales, reflecting a 6.3% YoY growth, while overall monthly sales recorded a 2.5% year-on-year increase.

Commenting on the strong performance, Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO of Hyundai Motor India Limited, said the company continues to build strong momentum, achieving its best-ever quarterly domestic sales. He added that upcoming product interventions, including the recently upgraded Hyundai Verna and Hyundai Exter, are expected to further support growth. Despite geopolitical uncertainties, he noted that Hyundai Motor India remains well-positioned for a strong FY2026–27, driven by aspirational, connected and innovative products, along with enhanced customer experience and ownership satisfaction.
