Porsche AG has appointed Florian Laudan as Vice President of Public Relations, Press, Sustainability and Politics, effective April 7, 2026. He succeeds Dr. Sebastian Rudolph, who transitioned to lead Corporate Communications at Volkswagen AG from January 1, 2026.
Laudan joins Porsche from ZF Friedrichshafen AG, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications and Marketing, a position he assumed in 2024. He joined ZF in 2022, initially heading communications for the company’s Commercial Vehicle Division.
Prior to his tenure at ZF, Laudan held several senior communications roles within the Daimler Group. During this period, he spent several years in India and Japan as Head of Communications for Daimler Truck Asia. He later returned to Stuttgart to serve as Head of PR and Internal Communications for Trucks & Buses. Laudan also held management positions at Mercedes-Benz Bank AG.
Dr. Michael Leiters said Laudan brings a strong combination of industry knowledge and international experience, making him well-suited to lead Porsche’s communications during a period of transformation in the automotive sector.
The appointment comes as Porsche navigates the industry’s shift toward electrification, sustainability requirements, and evolving regulatory frameworks affecting global automakers.
Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, headquartered in Stuttgart, is a luxury and sports car manufacturer and a publicly listed subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group.
