Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPVL) has announced a leadership change in its human resources division, with Chief Human Resources Officer Anjali Byce stepping down from her role effective at the close of business on June 30, 2026.
The company has appointed Sitaram Kandi as the new Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Management Personnel, effective July 1, 2026, according to a regulatory filing.
In her resignation letter dated May 13, 2026, Byce stated that she was leaving the company to pursue opportunities outside the organisation. She confirmed that she would be relieved of her responsibilities at the end of June.
Kandi brings more than three decades of experience in human resources and industrial relations, having previously worked with global companies including GE, Monsanto, TE Connectivity, and Bosch.
He is currently associated with Tata Motors Ltd as Chief Human Resources Officer and has earlier led HR functions for the company’s passenger vehicle and electric vehicle businesses, in addition to overseeing skill development and industrial relations activities.
TMPVL said the leadership transition will officially take effect from the beginning of July 2026.
