Tata Motors has unveiled the Next Gen Tiago and Tiago.ev, introducing significant upgrades aimed at redefining the hatchback segment with improved design, advanced technology, and stronger value proposition.
Built on the legacy of over 700,000 customers, the new Tiago range is available with Petrol, iCNG, and Electric powertrain options, catering to a wide spectrum of urban mobility needs.
The Next Gen Tiago is priced from ₹4.69 lakh, while the Tiago.ev starts at ₹6.99 lakh for full ownership. Tata Motors is also offering the Tiago.ev under its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model at ₹4.69 lakh plus a battery rental cost of ₹2.6 per kilometre, making electric mobility more accessible and cost-effective for customers.
The updated hatchbacks combine modern styling, practical features, connected technology, and everyday usability under a unified design philosophy focused on delivering aspirational yet value-driven mobility solutions.

The Next Gen Tiago range has been developed around five core pillars — WOW Looks, WOW Tech, WOW Choices, WOW Economics, and WOW Safety — aimed at redefining expectations in the hatchback segment.
The Tiago Petrol and iCNG variants feature a bolder and more modern design with sharper styling, while the Tiago.ev adopts a futuristic and digitally inspired appearance tailored for evolving urban mobility trends.
On the technology front, both models offer connected features, digital interfaces, and convenience-focused equipment. Built on the X-ALFA architecture, the Tiago Petrol and iCNG variants focus on practicality and premium everyday usability, while the Tiago.ev adds enhanced fast-charging capability that can deliver up to 100 km of range in just 18 minutes.
Tata Motors is also highlighting the Tiago.ev’s strong ownership economics, with lower running costs and flexible ownership models aimed at making EV adoption more accessible and financially practical for urban customers.
The Next Gen Tiago lineup offers multiple powertrain and transmission options, including Petrol, iCNG, and Electric variants with MT, AMT, and multiple battery pack choices, allowing customers to select configurations that best suit their driving needs.
Safety remains a major focus across the range. The Tiago Petrol and iCNG models introduce segment-first features such as a 360-degree Surround View system and Blind View Display, while the Tiago.ev comes equipped with six airbags and electronic stability systems as standard.
