Vega Auto Accessories Ltd., one of the world’s leading helmet manufacturers and the company behind premium helmet brand AXOR, has announced a strategic investment in Pune-based emergency technology company Tageze Medical ID System, operated by Techsocio Projects LLP.
The partnership marks a significant step towards integrating digital emergency response capabilities with rider safety solutions, extending protection beyond accident prevention to emergency preparedness and response.
Through Tageze’s QR-enabled Medical ID technology, riders can securely store critical information such as emergency contacts, blood group details, allergies, medical conditions, and insurance information. In the event of an emergency, first responders or bystanders can access this information instantly using a smartphone, enabling quicker identification and response.
As motorcycling communities continue to grow globally, riders are increasingly seeking solutions that combine physical protection with connected safety technologies. The collaboration between Vega and Tageze aims to address this need by helping improve access to critical information during emergency situations.
Commenting on the partnership, a spokesperson from Vega Auto Accessories Pvt. Ltd, said: “At Vega, rider safety has always been at the core of everything we do. Through our partnership with Tageze, we are looking at safety beyond the helmet itself by enabling faster access to critical information during emergencies. We believe this is an important step towards building a more connected and responsive rider safety ecosystem.”
Deepak Gaikwad, Founder & CEO, Tageze Medical ID System, added: “Our mission has always been to make life-saving information accessible when it matters most. Partnering with Vega allows us to expand the reach of this technology and bring emergency preparedness closer to riders across India and global markets.”
The partnership also reflects a broader industry shift towards integrating digital technologies with traditional safety equipment. By combining rider protection with emergency preparedness, both companies aim to contribute to improved safety outcomes for motorcyclists.
Tageze currently serves users across multiple international markets and enables emergency information access without requiring a dedicated mobile application. The platform supports multilingual access and is designed to assist riders, emergency responders, healthcare professionals, and families during critical situations.
The investment is expected to accelerate innovation in connected rider safety solutions and support the development of next-generation initiatives focused on improving emergency response preparedness for motorcyclists.
