Tesla has expanded its footprint in India with the launch of a new Experience Center in Hyderabad’s prominent IT corridor, HITEC City, Knowledge City Madhapur. The facility marks Tesla’s fifth Experience Center in the country.
The newly opened center will showcase Tesla’s latest electric vehicle lineup, including the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and the Model Y L. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the vehicles through guided walkarounds and interactive product demonstrations conducted by Tesla Advisors.
The Experience Center is designed to provide customers with an in-depth understanding of Tesla’s design philosophy, advanced electric vehicle technology, safety innovations, and performance capabilities through an immersive retail experience.
Delivery and After-Sales Services Begin in Telangana
To support customers across Telangana, Tesla has also commenced delivery and after-sales operations from its facility in the Bollaram Industrial Area. The move aims to provide a seamless ownership experience through direct customer engagement and dedicated support services.
2026 Tesla Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive
The new Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive offers a practical blend of performance, range, and utility. The electric SUV features up to 2,138 litres of cargo space, seating for five passengers, and power-folding rear seats for enhanced versatility.
Powered by Tesla’s ultra-responsive electric motors, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds and delivers a WLTP-certified driving range of up to 500 km.
The Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive is priced at ₹50.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Tesla is offering financing options with a down payment starting at ₹6 lakh and indicative monthly EMIs from ₹39,990. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in July 2026.
Model Y L: Tesla’s Family-Oriented Electric SUV
Also on display at the Hyderabad Experience Center is the Model Y L, Tesla’s all-wheel-drive electric SUV designed for larger families.
The vehicle features a three-row, six-seat layout, offering enhanced headroom, legroom, and passenger comfort. It delivers a WLTP-certified range of up to 681 km and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds. The SUV also provides up to 2,539 litres of cargo capacity, making it one of the most spacious offerings in its segment.
The Model Y L is available in India at a starting price of ₹61.99 lakh, with financing options including a ₹6.5 lakh down payment and indicative monthly EMIs from ₹49,990.
Safety Remains a Key Highlight
Both the Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and Model Y L have received top safety ratings from several globally recognized testing organizations, including the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in the United States, Euro NCAP in Europe, ANCAP in Australia and New Zealand, and C-IASI in China.
Tesla says these achievements reinforce the vehicles’ strong credentials in safety, efficiency, performance, and advanced technology.
Ordering and Charging Support
Customers can now place orders for both Model Y variants through Tesla’s official website. The company also offers home charging support across India, further enhancing convenience for EV buyers.
As a limited-time offer, customers who place their orders before June 30, 2026, will receive a complimentary Wall Connector for home charging.
