
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced that its upcoming New Brezza has achieved a 5-star safety rating under the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP). The compact SUV received the highest rating in both Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and Child Occupant Protection (COP), highlighting its strong safety credentials.
The New Brezza is scheduled to be launched in India on July 24, 2026. The 5-star Bharat NCAP certification reinforces Maruti Suzuki’s focus on enhancing vehicle safety and offering customers higher levels of occupant protection across its product portfolio.
The New Brezza strengthens the Company’s robust 5-star Bharat NCAP-rated vehicle portfolio, alongside the Dzire, VICTORIS, Invicto and the e VITARA. The model is equipped with a wide range of new active safety features including Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front Parking Sensors, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Emergency Stop Signal, Safe Exit Warning, amongst others. Additionally, as part of the ARENA Safety Shield, the New Brezza comes with 6 airbags as standard across all its variants, Electronic Stability Program ®(ESP®)with Hill Hold Assist, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.
