
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) posted its highest-ever monthly total sales in July 2026, recording 75,360 units, a 25.4% year-on-year (YoY) increase. The milestone was driven by strong demand in the domestic market and robust export performance.
The company’s domestic sales stood at 54,210 units, marking a 23.3% YoY growth and representing Hyundai’s highest-ever domestic sales for the month of July. Meanwhile, exports reached 21,150 units, up 31.4% YoY, making it the automaker’s highest monthly export volume in more than 100 months.
Among Hyundai’s best-selling models, the Hyundai CRETA recorded its highest monthly sales of calendar year 2026, with 18,088 units sold in July. The Hyundai i20 also achieved its best monthly performance of CY2026, registering 6,738 units.
Commenting on the company’s performance, Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO of Hyundai Motor India Limited, said the strong start to the new quarter reflects the growing trust customers have in the Hyundai brand.
He added that achieving 75,360 total sales, the highest monthly volume since the company’s inception, highlights Hyundai’s continued momentum in India. Garg also noted that the record export performance of 21,150 units underscores the company’s commitment to its ‘Make in India, Made for the World’ strategy, strengthening India’s position as a global manufacturing and export hub for Hyundai.
