
Volkswagen India has celebrated the fourth anniversary of the Virtus by introducing a limited-edition Virtus Anniversary Edition, commemorating the success of what the company describes as India’s No. 1 premium sedan. Based on the Virtus GT Plus Sport, the special edition brings a range of exclusive styling enhancements, offering customers a more distinctive take on the popular sedan while retaining its sporty character and everyday practicality.
The Virtus Anniversary Edition has been developed for buyers seeking a blend of dynamic performance, premium design and everyday usability. With its limited-volume availability and exclusive cosmetic updates, the new edition aims to enhance the appeal of the Virtus lineup while celebrating the model’s strong presence in the Indian premium sedan segment.
Offered exclusively on the Virtus GT Plus Sport variants, the Anniversary Edition debuts a striking new Avocado Pearl exterior colour complemented by a contrasting black roof and black alloy wheels, further accentuating the sedan’s sporty and premium character.
Customers can also avail Volkswagen Genuine accessories such as a 360⁰ Camera system, Front Parking Sensors and Puddle Lamps fitted at dealerships for both Taigun and Virtus.

The Virtus GT Plus Sport offers a premium and engaging driving experience with additional features such as 20.32 cm Digital Cockpit, Electric sunroof, Laser Red Ambient Lighting, Alu Pedals, Auto Headlights, Rain Sensing Wipers, Auto Dimming IRVM and more. Built on Volkswagen’s strong safety credentials, it comes equipped with six airbags as standard and a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating with over 40 advanced safety features. Powering the Virtus GT Plus Sport is the 1.5 litre TSI EVO engine that delivers 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque, paired with either a 7-speed DSG.
Since its launch in June 2022, the Virtus has strengthened Volkswagen’s position in India’s premium sedan segment. It continues to earn customer preference through its German engineering, safety, performance and driving dynamics.
The Virtus Special Edition is priced at ₹ 19 19 900 (ex-showroom) and will be available in limited numbers across Volkswagen dealerships in India.
