Hyundai Motor India will increase vehicle prices by up to 1% across its model range from September 2026, the automaker said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday. The price hike will vary depending on the model and variant.
The company attributed the revision to rising input and commodity costs, higher operational expenses and ongoing geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainties.
Hyundai said it has been implementing various measures to optimise costs and absorb rising expenses in an effort to minimise the impact on customers. However, continued cost pressures have prompted the automaker to pass on part of the increase through the latest price revision.
The move comes as automakers in India continue to navigate elevated raw-material and commodity costs while balancing profitability with consumer demand.
Hyundai Motor India’s portfolio currently includes hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs and electric vehicles such as the Grand i10 Nios, i20, Verna, Venue, Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric.
The latest price increase is expected to take effect from September 2026, with the exact revision varying across models and variants.
