The company has shared its strategic roadmap with a group of dealers, revealing intentions to introduce seven new models in the Indian market within the next two years. This development comes on the heels of the recent joint venture between MG Motor and JSW Group.

While details remain undisclosed, sources reveal that MG Motor India aims to diversify its offerings by focusing on hybrid and electric vehicles. The company is expected to update its existing Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) models, with the premium SUV Gloster slated for an update in the coming year.

The joint venture with JSW Group, announced on November 30, sees JSW holding a 35% stake, reflecting a long-term commitment to the Indian market. The plan emphasizes a comprehensive approach, covering various segments with multiple vehicle offerings.

MG Motor India is likely to prioritize hybrid models, including plug-in hybrids and battery-operated vehicles, aligning with the industry trend towards sustainable and eco-friendly mobility solutions.
