BlueBinaries acquires MicroNova Automotive Testing Business, forms NovaBinaries

BlueBinaries has signed an agreement to acquire MicroNova AG’s automotive testing business, which will operate as NovaBinaries GmbH with an initial projected annual revenue of $50 million.

Chennai-based BlueBinaries has signed an agreement to acquire the automotive testing business of Germany-based software and systems provider MicroNova AG. Following the transaction, the acquired business will operate as an independent entity within the BlueBinaries group under the name NovaBinaries GmbH.

The newly formed entity is projected to generate an initial annual revenue of around $50 million, with BlueBinaries targeting growth of the combined operation to approximately $100 million in annual revenue over the coming years.

MicroNova AG brings around three decades of experience in automotive technology, with expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing systems and software solutions used across automotive testing environments in Europe.

As part of the integration, NovaBinaries will combine MicroNova’s automotive testing technologies and software test factories with BlueBinaries’ engineering delivery capabilities. The move is expected to strengthen the group’s capabilities in automotive software testing and support its engagement with global automotive customers.

Kishore LM, Founder and COO, BlueBinaries, said, “The acquisition of the Automotive Testing business from MicroNova is a strategic leap that enhances our ability to offer the right technology solutions across automotive software testing.”

The formation of NovaBinaries marks BlueBinaries’ expansion of its automotive engineering and testing capabilities, bringing together European automotive testing expertise and its engineering delivery operations.
