GoMechanic, one of India’s leading automotive service providers, has announced its entry into the two-wheeler servicing market with a ₹100 crore investment plan over the next two years. This expansion follows the company’s acquisition by Servizzy and is aimed at tapping into India’s vast two-wheeler segment, which accounts for over 75% of the nation’s total vehicle sales.
The company has already rolled out its ‘2Wheels’ service in major metropolitan areas, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Pune, with plans to expand to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, and Ahmedabad in the coming months. The initiative seeks to streamline India’s highly fragmented two-wheeler servicing industry, currently dominated by unorganized local garages.
“Two-wheelers are the backbone of Indian mobility, yet the servicing ecosystem remains largely unorganized. With 2Wheels by GoMechanic, we are introducing structure, efficiency, and trust to the market. Our vision is to make bike servicing as seamless as booking a cab—affordable, reliable, and accessible with just a few clicks. This marks a significant shift for millions of riders, and we are excited to drive this transformation,” said Himanshu Arora, CEO and Co-Founder of GoMechanic.
The company’s service portfolio covers a wide range of maintenance solutions, from routine servicing to complex engine repairs. GoMechanic is committed to quality, ensuring the use of genuine spare parts and certified technicians. By addressing the industry’s challenges—such as counterfeit parts and inconsistent service standards—the company aims to bring much-needed reliability to the two-wheeler servicing sector.
Industry analysts suggest that GoMechanic’s expansion into two-wheeler servicing could reshape the sector in India. While premium motorcycle owners have access to authorized service centers, the majority of everyday commuters depend on local mechanics, often facing inconsistent service quality and pricing.
‘At GoMechanic, we have always been pioneers in automotive service innovation. Expanding into the two-wheeler market with 2Wheels is a natural progression in our mission to provide standardized, high-quality, and affordable servicing to every Indian rider. With our ₹100 crore investment over the next two years, we are setting new benchmarks, ensuring two-wheeler owners receive the same reliability and transparency that car owners have come to expect from us,’ said Muskan Kakkar, COO & Co-Founder of GoMechanic.
The company plans to establish operations in over 100 cities and leverage its existing technological infrastructure to enhance service efficiency. GoMechanic’s platform will feature standardized pricing, digital booking systems, and real-time service tracking—solutions that are currently lacking in the highly fragmented two-wheeler servicing market.
