Greaves Cotton Limited has established a wholly owned subsidiary in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), as part of its strategy to strengthen its international operations and expand its presence in global markets. The new entity, Greaves International Trading FZE, will serve as a regional hub for the company’s overseas business activities.
Based in Dubai, the subsidiary will focus on driving business growth across the Middle East and Africa by managing regional distribution, business development, supply chain coordination, channel partnerships, localised technical support, and aftermarket services. The company will distribute Greaves Cotton’s core portfolio of diesel engines, power generators, and powertrain solutions catering to the energy, mobility, and industrial sectors.
Commenting on the development, Parag Satpute, Managing Director and Group CEO of Greaves Cotton Limited, said the company’s international business remains a key pillar of its long-term growth strategy. In the initial phase, Greaves International Trading FZE will focus on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain, before progressively expanding its reach into the Levant and African regions.
