Komaki makes fresh breakthrough

In yet another venture towards revolutionizing the Electric Vehicle (EV) market, Komaki is set to launch two more advanced electric scooters – DT 3000 and the Komaki LY, on 24 May 2022. These vehicles will be Komaki’s third and fourth breakthrough in the EV market this year – depicting the company’s commitment to aggressive R&D activities, production capacity and prompt response to the ever-changing demands in the market.

Komaki’s DT 3000 is powered by a robust 3000 Watt BLDC motor and is equipped with the patented advanced lithium battery of 62V52AH – an example of Komaki’s excellence in EV innovations, which is far ahead of the market expectations. With a top speed of 80 km/hr, the DT 3000 provides a mileage of 180-220 km on a single charge. The high-speed scooter also comes with a stunning look and in four ravishing colors – metal grey, translucent blue, jet black and bright red. The ex-showroom price of DT 3000 is INR 1,22,500 onwards.

Komaki LY will be the first electric scooter in the country to have an anti-skid function, which will create the benchmark in the EV sector. The biggest scooter in the economy segment is designed to ensure safe and balanced drive on the road. Powered by lithium ferro phosphate, the high speed Komaki LY provides a mileage of 80-90 km on a single charge. Komaki LY is available in garnet red, jet black and metal grey at the ex-showroom price INR 88000 onwards.

“After receiving overwhelming response from the Indian customers, showing trust in our green and sustainable mobility solutions, we are inspired to be back with two new EVs, to shine the Indian road again. This time the riders will take pride in riding two unmatched vehicles in the segment – DT 3000 with its unique battery and LY with anti-skid functions,” Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division.

The all-new Komaki DT 3000 and LY are going to be the seventh and eighth addition to their registered high-speed models respectively. Self-diagnosis instrument, disc brake, mobile charging point, noise-free functioning, reverse assist, remote lock, telescopic shocker, cruise control, and Bluetooth speakers are some of the few unique features added in the new Komaki EVs.

Earlier in January this year, Komaki introduced to the Indian EV market with two spectacles of the sector – the Ranger, India’s first electric cruiser with big grosser wheels and Venice, a classic scooter. “Our new-age electric vehicles are widely acknowledged in the market for their high quality, high performance, excellent strength, sporty looks, low maintenance, and long service life. Besides, with a dozen of cutting-edge features and affordable pricing, Komaki offers excellent value for money to the customers,” said Gunjan Malhotra.
