Borzo (formerly WeFast), a global leader in intracity delivery, has launched its inaugural fleet of electric 3-wheelers, marking a major milestone in the company’s push for sustainable logistics solutions. This initiative, aligned with Borzo’s goal to reduce carbon emissions, aims to revolutionize urban delivery operations by improving both efficiency and environmental impact in the volumetric delivery sector.
The rollout begins with a pilot phase in Mumbai, with plans to expand to Delhi. The electric 3-wheelers are designed for lightweight deliveries of up to 500 kilograms. Future expansion will include electric 4-wheelers, such as mini trucks and tempos, with capacities of up to 750 kilograms. As part of its sustainability strategy, Borzo aims to electrify 30% of its 3-wheeler fleet, targeting 1,000 daily deliveries using electric vehicles.
Gig delivery partners will be integral to this effort, managing their operations and schedules while using energy-efficient vehicles. Additionally, Borzo plans to collaborate with electric vehicle service providers to ensure smooth maintenance and reliable vehicle performance.

This rollout marks the first step in our vision to further expand with electric mini trucks and tempos.”
Beyond the environmental benefits, adopting electric vehicles is expected to lower operational costs by reducing fuel consumption and maintenance expenses. As part of its broader strategy, Borzo plans to launch aggressive promotional campaigns offering competitive pricing to B2B clients, while onboarding 1,500 delivery partners for its 3-wheeler, mini truck, and tempo operations.
With a strong fleet of over 60,000 delivery partners already serving hyperlocal and SME segments across India, Borzo is positioning itself as a leader in sustainable urban logistics, meeting the increasing demand for eco-friendly and efficient delivery solutions.
