Bajaj Auto has launched the new Chetak 35 series, introducing two electric scooter variants: the Chetak 3501 and 3502. These models come with enhanced storage capacity and offer a range of features, from basic to premium, catering to various customer needs. The pricing starts at INR 1,20,000 for the 3502 and INR 1,27,243 for the 3501.
The new Chetak 35 series retain the iconic design of the classic Chetak. Powered by a 3.5 kWh battery, the scooters deliver a range of 153 km and a top speed of 73 km/h. New features include full-map navigation, document storage, a music player, and calling functionality. Additional conveniences such as speed lock settings, remote immobilisation, and more are accessible via a touchscreen integrated with Mappls.
Both models feature a newly designed, larger quilted dual-rexene seat, which is 80mm longer than previous versions. The under-seat storage has also been increased, and onboard charging is available. The Chetak 3502 offers fast charging capabilities, reaching 0-80% charge in just 3 hours and 25 minutes, and features a 35L boot—leading the industry in boot capacity.
“The 3502 is equipped with a Color TFT display and Turn-by-Turn navigation, providing clear and intuitive visuals for a seamless and connected riding experience,” said the company. Bajaj Auto’s Chetak lineup now includes four other models: the 3201, 3202, 2903, and the 3201 Special Edition. The new 35 series further expand the offerings of the Chetak range.
