Bajaj Auto Expands Pulsar N160 Range with New N160 S and N160 SS

Bajaj Auto has launched the Pulsar N160 S and N160 SS, expanding its 160cc motorcycle range with a 165cc engine, 18.5 PS, four ride modes and new electronic features.

Bajaj Auto has expanded its Pulsar N160 lineup with the launch of two new variants — the Pulsar N160 S and Pulsar N160 SS. Both motorcycles feature electronic rider aids, a new 165cc four-valve engine and updated connectivity technology.

The Pulsar N160 S is priced at ₹1,33,511, while the Pulsar N160 SS is priced at ₹1,42,585 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).

New 165cc Engine and Four Ride Modes

The new Pulsar N160 variants are powered by a 165cc, four-valve engine producing 18.5 PS. Bajaj Auto has equipped both motorcycles with its new Intelligent Throttle (ETB) system, which enables four riding modes — Rain, Sport, Road and Off-road.

Both variants also feature Crawl Technology, designed to offer greater control at low speeds and in demanding riding conditions.

The N160 SS takes the electronic package further with traction control and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster featuring Google Maps mirroring.

Pulsar N160 Range Records 60% Growth

According to Bajaj Auto, the Pulsar N160 range has registered 60% growth during the first six months of the calendar year. The company has introduced the N160 S and N160 SS to build on this momentum, while the existing standard Pulsar N160 will continue to be sold alongside the new variants.

N160 SS Gets Styling and Ergonomic Updates

The Pulsar N160 SS receives additional styling and ergonomic updates, including new graphics, coloured alloy wheels, revised handlebar positioning and an updated seat height.

Both the N160 S and N160 SS will be available in three colour options:

  • Atlantic Blue
  • Pearl Metallic White
  • Brooklyn Black

Commenting on the launch, Sarang Kanade, Chief Business Officer, Two-wheeler Business Unit, Bajaj Auto, said, “We are taking that success further. With the addition of the N160 S and N160 SS, Bajaj Auto aims to offer customers more technology-rich options within the Pulsar N160 family while strengthening the motorcycle’s position in the competitive 160cc segment.
