Kinetic, a longstanding name in India’s two-wheeler industry, has introduced the upgraded Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh, combining the iconic DX’s familiar design and legacy with modern electric technology, increased range and enhanced everyday practicality.
The updated DX+ is powered by a 3.1 kWh LFP battery, offering an IDC-certified range of up to 132 km on a single charge. The larger battery is paired with a 3.8 kW peak-power hub-mounted BLDC motor, delivering a practical and confident riding experience tailored to urban commuters.

The biggest upgrade to the DX+ is its 3.1 kWh LFP battery, engineered to offer a combination of range, durability and everyday usability. The battery delivers a certified IDC range of up to 132 km, helping riders undertake daily commutes with greater confidence and fewer charging concerns.
The DX+ also features K-Coast Tech for power regeneration, enabling energy recovery during deceleration and contributing to an efficient riding experience.
Complementing the battery upgrade is a 3.8 kW peak-power hub BLDC motor, designed to offer a responsive and effortless urban riding experience.
The DX+ retains the iconic all-metal body, preserving the distinctive design language that has made the Kinetic DX instantly recognisable over the years, while integrating technology and features designed for the needs of today’s electric scooter rider.
Designed for Everyday Convenience
The Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh combines a 132 km IDC range with practical features such as quick charging, riding modes, reverse assist, regenerative braking, IP67 protection and 37-litre under-seat storage. It also gets telematics, tubeless tyres, front disc and rear drum brakes, and a 165 mm ground clearance, making it well-suited for everyday urban commuting.
The Easy Charge system further simplifies charging, while the approximately three-hour 0–80% quick-charging capability helps reduce charging downtime.
The scooter’s Park Assist with Reverse adds convenience while manoeuvring in tight urban spaces. The IP67 water and dust protection provides added assurance for everyday riding across varied road and weather conditions.
The generous 37-litre under-seat storage adds to the scooter’s practicality, providing ample space for everyday essentials and making the DX+ particularly suited to urban commuters.
Performance and Ride Dynamics
The DX+ 3.1 kWh combines its upgraded battery with a hub-mounted BLDC motor delivering 3.8 kW of peak power. Riders can choose between Range and Power riding modes, allowing them to tailor the riding experience according to their requirements.
With 165 mm of ground clearance, a 1,315 mm wheelbase and 12-inch tubeless tyres at both the front and rear, the DX+ is engineered to provide a stable and confident ride across everyday urban conditions.
Braking duties are handled by a 220 mm front disc brake and 130 mm rear drum brake, while the 714 mm seat length is designed to offer a comfortable riding position.

The upgraded Kinetic DX range will be available in two variants:
Kinetic DX 3 kWh – ₹1,18,599 (ex-showroom)
Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh – ₹1,27,650 (ex-showroom)
