Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., one of India’s leading SUV manufacturers, has launched the Thar OG, a new interpretation of its iconic lifestyle SUV. The model is introduced at an introductory price starting from ₹10.32 lakh (ex-showroom) and succeeds the three-door Thar that was launched in 2020. The 2020 Thar played a key role in establishing a new segment in the Indian SUV market and went on to build a strong and passionate community of enthusiasts.
With the Thar OG, Mahindra aims to carry forward the model’s distinctive character while adapting it for a new generation of customers. The SUV retains the spirit of exploration, freedom and self-expression that has become synonymous with the Thar brand, while introducing a new chapter in its evolution.
